Everyone comes to yoga with his or her own personal history as well as an individual body. Everything that is alive develops and changes in each moment.
With this in mind, our yoga practice is based upon the unique needs and potentialities of each individual. Rather than trying to fit our bodies and lives into the perfect image of yoga, we use the yoga practices to support us and to help us to grow as individuals.
For Rebecca, yoga is a journey – a way to better know oneself and to approach the adventure of life with courage and curiosity.
In addition to the enchanting garden and the charming pool, there is a lovely outdoor yoga platform and indoor yoga studio. The southern Italian landscape is rural and dotted with beautiful olive trees and vineyards. There is plenty of space to walk and to explore.
Accommodation is in either the carefully restored farm-house or surrounding Trullis - white round houses with onion domes, typical of the region.
All ingredients for the meals are local and organic – many grown directly in the gardens of La Rosa dei 4 Venti. The recipes are modern macrobiotic versions of tradition Italian cuisine.
During the week of our retreat we will have exclusive access to La Rosa dei 4 Venti. To assure for enough time and space for individual attention, the group size has been limited to 16. The retreat will be held in English, unless everyone is able to understand German.

Rebecca began practicing yoga in 2001 as a way to balance her then hectic life as an international school teacher in Moscow, Russia. With a history in dance and ballet, she was immediately attracted to yoga and the sense of tranquility it gave her. With time, however, she learned that yoga is really less about physical flexibility and turning yourself into a human pretzel, and more about learning to live life to its fullest by learning how to let go and by breathing fully into the present moment.
Rebecca began teaching yoga to both adults and children while working as an international teacher at the Bavarian International School in 2005. After discovering her passion for teaching yoga, Rebecca completed her foundation 200 hour Yoga Alliance teacher training with Paul Dallaghan at Centered Yoga Institute in Thailand with a focus in Ashtanga yoga and pranayama in 2007. Following the birth of her son Rebecca completed an additional training in Pre- and Post- Natal Yoga in 2009. In February 2010 she was awarded the 500 hour Yoga Alliance certification. In 2012 she completed the Teachers´ Training with David Swenson and "Moving Limbs" with Manfred Gauper in Munich, Germany and attended her first 10-day Vipassana Meditation. In the summer of 2013 she completed the Teachers Intensive with Richard Freeman in Boulder, Colorado. In September 2012 Rebecca opened her own yoga studio in Munich, Germany.
Rebecca is dedicated to furthering her understanding of this ancient science through her own daily yoga practice. In addition, she participates in workshops and teacher trainings on a regular basis. Rebecca is very grateful to her teachers Mary Weden, Paul Dallaghan, Richard Freeman and her son, Paul, who have helped to guide her along this path.
